OBJETIVE:
The Company, Tatung Mexico, has the firm intention to observe the highest ethical standards in their business practices, applying this rule to our relationships with our customers, suppliers, shareholders, competitors and communities where we work and the interrelations between all employees at all levels of the company.

OUR CUSTOMERS:
The Company is firstly accountable to the people who use our products and services, so we put all our efforts into providing products of excellent quality, high value, fair prices and honest transactions. In our dealings with clients we will comply accordingly with the Code of Ethics and the Law.

OUR EMPLOYEES:
The Company has the firm purpose to prevent the recruitment of below 15 years old employees, give our employees fair treatment, observing labor practices based on equality of opportunity for all employees while respecting the right to privacy, freedom of association (Social, Cultural, Sports and Education), and the dignity of each employee, without distinction of race, age, color, sex, religion or nationality; we have proposed to create healthy and safe working conditions in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, open to dialogue with all our employees.

OUR SUPPLIERS:
The Company has the firm intention to proceed honestly with our suppliers. We emphasize fair competition without discrimination or deception, acting in a manner consistent with our business relationships.

OUR SHAREHOLDERS:
The Company has every intention of generating profitable benefit for our shareholders and to protect and enhance the value of their investment through the utilization of the resources of the company, besides the observance of the highest standards of ethical and legal conduct in all our business relationships.

OUR COMPETITORS:
The Company is determined to compete vigorously and fairly, based solely on the merits of our competitive costs and products.

OUR COMMUNITY:
The Company has the firm intention of acting as an entity responsible to the community in which we live. We will respect and comply with local and national laws and strive to contribute to the welfare of our communities by encouraging employee participation in civic activities and through the company’s philanthropic activities.

CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
The Company’s employees, in dealing with suppliers, customers and others having business relationships with the company, will avoid giving the impression that there is any conflict between the interests of our staff and company. This rule applies equally to business relationships and personal activities, the conflict of interest policy focuses on the behavior patterns to be observed by employees when:

  • A. - It has direct or indirect financial interest with suppliers, customers or competitors

  • B. - Donations are solicited or accepted of any kind from suppliers, customers or other companies that are doing or want to do business with Tatung.

  • C. - They act as advisors or another kind of function or providing volunteer services to other companies or organizations similar to Tatung.

  • D. - There is inappropriate and irresponsible use of Tatung’s confidential information, which was acquired in the course of their activities or business relationships to affect good business practices.

Bribes or other means of obtaining undue or improper advantage are not to be offered or accepted. Monitoring and enforcement procedures shall be implemented to ensure compliance with anti-corruption laws.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:
Intellectual property rights are to be respected Protected and communiqué in our commitment and internal manuals of the Company.

QUALITY AND SECURITY OF OUR PRODUCTS:
The whole enterprise has an obligation to design, manufacture and deliver quality products while strictly observing all testing and inspection procedures required; similarly, all TATUNG MEXICO products will be designed, produced and delivered bearing in mind all safety and health considerations of our customers and users of our products.

 

EQUALITY OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES:
The Company provides voluntary employment and freedom to finalizing under employee’s free willing, equal employment opportunities to qualified individuals without distinction of race, religion, color, national origin, age, sex, disability or other factors that affect the legitimate commercial interests of Tatung Mexico, this policy applies to all aspects of labor relations, including recruitment of new employees, promotions, selection of candidates for training programs, and the administration of pay and benefits programs. Forced, bonded or indentured labor, involuntary prison labor, slavery or trafficking of persons shall not to be used.

PLACE AND WORK CONDITIONS:
The Company is committed to respect the normal and overtime hours specified by the law, to providing its employees a safe workplace without risks that threaten their health and safety and a work environment free from discrimination, harassment or attitudes that prevent a productive working atmosphere and one in which there is respected in full the integrity of every employee, supplier, and customer to have the right to freedom of association and discernment of ideas.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION:
The Company prohibits the use, possession and distribution of alcohol, drugs, and narcotics, except for prescription medications, for which there is a medical prescription previously notified to the company.

PROTECTION OF IDENTITY
We are committed to comply with the Federal Law on protection of personal and confidential data managed by particulars according with the official gazette.

ENVIRONMENT
We are committed to arrange all the permits required by Environmental Law and prevent or eliminate waste of energy and water as well as hazardous substances. Residual water and solid waste generated in the production operation as well as the air pollutant emission must be controlled, eliminated or addressed according to the law.

RESPONSIBLE SOURCING OF MINERALS
We reject the use of tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold in the raw material and products that we manufacture to come from funding or responsible for serious assaults on human rights in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country's armed groups.

RESTRICTIONS ABOUT THE USAGE OF MATERIALS CONTAINING HALOGEN
We are a company commited with the restriction of usage of materials with flame retardants derivated from the halogen ( PBBs and PBDEs) used by some electrical components suppliers.
